Ex-Naughty Dog Bruce Straley on Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’s Similarity to Uncharted 2

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is out in theaters now, and there’s one scene that may be a little familiar to fans of the Uncharted series.
The work also caught the eye of Bruce Straley, co-director of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, who recently tweeted an image of the hanging train scene from the film, along with the caption, “Uncharted 2.” I compared the images. Included in that was “…a sincere compliment!” As a quick refresher, Uncharted 2 came out in his 2009. The game’s most iconic scene It’s Nathan Drake, the main character hanging from the train car.

Of course, the hanging vehicle idea wasn’t created by Uncharted 2. The 1997 movie The Lost World: Jurassic Park Contains scenes like It’s from Uncharted 2 and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1. But Christopher McQuarrie, director of the last few Mission: Impossible films, has previously said he took inspiration from the Uncharted games.
McQuarrie you said that in 2015 He explained that Rogue Nation’s plane sequence was inspired by 2011’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deceit. contained a planar sequence.
