Exclusive: Street Fighter: Duel Is a New Mobile RPG Set to Be Released in February 2023
IGN can exclusively reveal that the first RPG in the franchise, Street Fighter: Duel, will release on iOS and Android devices in February 2023.
Developed by Crunchyroll Games and Capcom, Street Fighter: Duel will feature over 40 characters at launch, including Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li and Cammy. Players can then take those characters and assemble a team of three fighters to “defeat Seth and Shadaloo’s army of mech clones in an extensive story mode.”
Old and new stages are also included in the package, allowing players to choose between real-time RPG combat or auto-battle to advance the story. Combat takes place in his 2D, allowing players to tap the screen to utilize the fighter’s iconic combos and abilities, and the game includes a card mechanic.
Fighters can be leveled up and improved through gameplay or in-app purchases, and teams of players can battle online against friends and other players around the world. There are also exclusive skins.

No exact release date beyond February 2023 has been revealed, but “Street Fighter Duel” pre-registration now open Some European countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The number of players who pre-register determines the amount of free in-game currency awarded to all players.
