Oh, we want movies, TV, and video games to include people who have followed the path of a Jedi at some point in their lives, even if they never completed their Jedi training or earned the title of Padawan. In the case of Knight, or Master, or Ahsoka, he left the Jedi Order entirely. Yes, this means Grogu is fair game! Also, there are no Sith involved here (unless they were once Jedi). I’m sorry, Darth Maul!

What is Face Off?
As the name suggests, Face-Off pits two things against each other to decide which one is better. In this case, you’re voting to determine which Jedi in the current Star Wars canon is the most powerful. IGN’s team of resident Star Wars experts have pre-selected 63 of the most powerful Jedi. These are randomly paired and tracked each time you pick a winner.
How will the winner be determined?
Once the voting closes on May 3rd, we will tally up the total number of “wins” and “losses” for each character and create a ranked list based on your choices, which will be published on May 4th. . If a “Winner” title is awarded and there is a tie in the number of “Winners”, the character with the fewest “Losers” will take the top spot. Keep voting for your favorite characters and the more likely you are to rank high on the list. You can vote as many times as you like until the faceoff ends.
How can I be sure I clicked all?
All Jedi are randomly matched, and with so many possible matchups, it’s hard to know when you’ve seen them all. Playing until you’ve voted for all your favorites or keeping certain characters out of the winner’s circle are the different options available in the showdown. Determining a winner in all of these matchups ensures that the most powerful Jedi picks have a fighting chance to reach the top of the list.
Which Jedi are included?
The list of most powerful Jedi to be included in this showdown was determined by the IGN staff and we have endeavored to include all the most famous Jedi from movies, TV and video games. This includes all characters who have followed the Jedi path in any part of their lives, even if they eventually turned to the Dark Side. It also includes those who have left the Jedi Order entirely, like Ahsoka, who did not. Yes, this means Grogu is fair game! We decided to focus on those who didn’t fall to the dark side of the Force, but those who, like Anakin and Count Dooku, were before their fateful fall was allowed!
