Fear Fest returns this September with a ton of horror games to come and the premiere of the first-ever Horror Game Awards.

Feardemic’s two-day event kicks off on September 6th and can be watched live exclusively on IGN. YouTube and convulsions Channel starts at 11am Pacific / 2pm Eastern / 7pm UK.

The coverage kicks off with Black Summer 2023, a spooky three-hour showcase of the most anticipated horror games of 2023 and 2024, including world premiere trailers, developer interviews, special guest appearances, and content creator reactions. increase.

The Horror Game Awards will be held concurrently on September 7th, honoring the best horror games of the year and their developers. The event will be broadcast live from Krakow’s most haunted theater, and some of the most famous names in the horror world will award the winner with a golden bat trophy.

“We planned this event in 2022 as a tribute to the horror community, and it turned out to be a huge success,” Feardemic CEO Scott Millard said.

“This year, we wanted to make the event better and more rewarding for horror fans, so we decided to host two nights of horror, one to whet the appetite for our upcoming games. The other is to celebrate last year’s game, and of course IGN is a natural partner for Fear Fest and we are so excited to be working with them on this project.”

Voting for the Horror Games Awards will open later this year, allowing the gaming community to choose from 15 different categories of nominees.
