“This new independent platform offers new opportunities for innovation, creativity and evolution,” reads a message from EA Sports Group GM Cam Weber.

Despite Weber’s withdrawal of the name license, EA Sports FC has announced that FIFA’s leagues, clubs and players include “more than 19,000 players, more than 700 teams, more than 100 stadiums, 30 leagues”. Revealed to maintain the license.
