The first official season begins as MultiVersus enters its second week of open beta. With less than a week to go before Season 1 kicks off, fans still have a lot of questions about the Season 1 Battle Pass.
Today, Tony Huynh, Director of MultiVersus reacted to fan tweets Here are the details of the game’s Season 1 Battle Pass. According to Huynh, the pass costs 950 Gleamium, the game’s paid currency, and offers 50 tiers.
1000 Gleamium is worth approximately $9.99. So the Season 1 Battle Pass costs a little less than $10.

The preseason battle pass is currently running until August 8th. It’s only 300 Gleamium, much cheaper than the Season 1 Battle Pass, but it only has 15 tiers of character skins, profile icons, XP, coins, and cosmetics.
We don’t know much about Season 1’s Battle Pass, but we do know that Morty from Rick and Morty will be in Season 1 starting August 9th.
MultiVersus was released last week to great acclaim, reaching over 144,000 concurrent players on Steam. He gave the game an 8 in his review, stating that while it may take time to expand its limited roster, “its foundation is already solid.”
