FromSoftware Is Recruiting For ‘Several New Projects’

From Software, the developer of Elden Ring and Dark Souls, today launched a new recruitment website that invites candidates to apply for various new positions in the studio. The website claims that the developers are working on “some new projects”, so it looks like multiple games are underway in my beloved studio.

The Recruitment page Is mainly written in Japanese, but the English message says: “FromSoftware is looking for development staff to play a central role in some new projects. Work together to create a rewarding experience for players around the world.”

Following the message is a list of 22 jobs covering game design, programming, art design, graphic design, animation, art design, visual art, movie design, technical art, sound, production support, development support and corporate sales. .. In short; this is a pretty big recruitment activity for FromSoftware.

Some of those roles R & D positionSuggests that at least one of the projects is still in the very early stages.

FromSoftware could have hit a high after the huge success of Elden Ring, which sold over 13 million copies in the first month alone. Therefore, one of the few projects you are working on in From Software could be EldenRingDLC. No additional content for the Elden Ring has been officially announced, but players have discovered areas in the game that they believe will one day become a PvP-focused DLC.

Of course, some of those projects are probably brand new games. The sequel to Elden Ring seems a bit unavoidable given its popularity, but it’s true that FromSoft’s devouts have hope for Bloodborne and Sekiro’s successors (directly or spiritually). There is none. However, leaks from earlier this year suggest that the studio may be back in the mecha era with a new Armored Core game.
