Ghost of Tsushima Writer Joins Bioshock 4 as Narrative Lead

Bioshock 4 just hired former Ghost of Tsushima writer Liz Albl.

After working on Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Watch Dogs Legion, and more, she will join the upcoming Bioshock game as the narrative leader.

“Dreams come true!” she announced twitter“I am very happy to announce that I have joined Cloud Chamber as Bioshock’s narrative lead.”

The upcoming Bioshock sequel was first announced to be developed by new 2K studio, Cloud Chamber, in 2019.

However, it’s still unclear if the project will be a direct sequel, with Cloud Chamber head Kelley Gilmore simply calling it “the next iteration of the BioShock franchise.”

It’s also unclear if the game will return to Rapture or Columbia (the settings of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock: Infinite). In fact, that probably won’t happen after Cloud Chamber starts recruiting developers for its “New Fantastic World”.

“We… hope our fans like our future plans for this environment,” Gilmore said. wait a little while.”

It’s unclear how far Bioshock 4 is at this point, but it seems like it’s still a long way off as the team prepares writers.

Earlier this year, Netflix also announced the much-anticipated BioShock movie, which will have director Francis Lawrence joining the project in August.

IGN’s original Bioshock review gave it a 9.7/10 and stated: This is an essential gaming experience. ”
