As part of the Ghostbusters Day celebration, Sony Pictures VR today announced the next title, Ghostbusters VR, on PlayStation VR2.
Ghostbusters VR was unveiled at the Metaquest Gaming Showcase last April. In this showcase, it was first announced that it would appear in Quest 2. FarCryVR: Dive Into Insanity and Phantom: The studio behind Covert Opps, nDreams, is developing Ghostbusters VR.
Set in San Francisco, players have the opportunity to run their own ghost busting business. Sony Picture VR has previously confirmed that the game is set “modern, and perhaps a little in the future,” but this game is not a direct follow-up to Ghostbusters movies, including Ghostbusters: Afterlife. ..
Ghostbusters VR is the latest game to be announced for Sony’s next gaming headset, PlayStation VR2. Last week, Sony hosted a 30-minute State of Play, with several games under development for headsets, including VR support for Resident Evil Village and a detailed survey of Holiday: Call of the Mountain. It was confirmed that there was. Other games that have been confirmed to be under development for PSVR2 include: VR among us And No Man’s Sky.
Like the PlayStation VR2, Ghostbusters VR currently has no release date.
