Arc System Works has announced the release date for Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 2, along with the first DLC character Bridget. The second season and Bridget will be released on his August 8th.
At EVO, Season Pass 2 of Arc System Works’ previously announced Guilty Gear Strive kicks off with the launch of yo-yo attacker Brigitte. This is the first playable game since Guilty Gear XX Core Plus R.
In addition to new playable characters, Bridget comes with two new battle stages and a second color pack. Arc System describes Bridget as an “easy to pick up” character with both ranged attacks and good movement.
Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 2 will feature a total of four new characters, so three more will be added in the future.
Guilty Gear Strive is the latest installment in Arc System Works’ popular fighting game series, and the studio recently announced that it has sold over one million copies worldwide. It is the first game in the Guilty Gear series to reach this milestone.
To celebrate, Arc System Works has released a new original music video for Sol Badguy’s theme. Additionally, starting August 8th, the regular edition of Guilty Gear Strive will be available for his low price of $39.99.
If you haven’t checked out Guilty Gear Strive, it’s no surprise given that IGN’s review praised the newest entry and it’s one of the most stylish modern fighters out there right now.
