How to Celebrate Pride Month and Support the LGBTQIA+ Community
Today is Pride Month. This is a time not only to commemorate and celebrate the history and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community, but also to take the time to reflect on challenges and current issues, listen to and share their stories, elevate their voices and support them. It’s also time to make space to do.
Join us in celebrating and supporting LGBTQIA+ people.Read stories from the queer community and their allies, learn that pride is more than just a rainbow flag (do you know its history?), or Donate to an influential charity Change and save the lives of LGBT+ youth (see below). It’s all incredibly important.

History of Pride Month
Each year in June, pride is recognized across the United States. This is mainly Stonewall Rebellion The Stonewall Uprising helped boost momentum for the gay rights movement, and after the incident, activists began organizing pride marches and parades throughout June. That tradition continues today, but many cities host events at different times of the year.

What does LGBTQIA+ stand for?
LGBTQIA+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex and asexual, while the + symbol represents a space for diverse gender and sexual identities that continue to be explored and understood. contained.
