A basic membership to Nintendo Switch Online is $19.99 for 12 months and gives you access to some of the best NES and Super NES games. But most importantly, Metroid for NES and Super Metroid for Super NES are available now with a basic membership on Nintendo Switch Online, and you also get access to Metroid II: Return of Samus.
