Today’s Daily Fix: Cyberpunk 2077 got its long-awaited DLC expansion, Phantom Liberty, later this year, and developer CD Projekt Red is spending big bucks on it. It was more expensive to produce than the Wine expansion and was practically an entire game in itself. In other news, the Dead Space remake is so decidedly horrific that even the devs have a hard time playing it at night. The team consulted with fans early in development, resulting in some incredibly spooky environments. Too creepy, technical his director David Robillard didn’t like playing on headphones after hours. And finally, Crystal Dynamics is halting development on Marvel’s Avengers. The game will no longer be available for digital purchase after September, and cosmetic items will be free. If you already own it, you can still play.
