Inscryption, the Creepy Deckbuilding Hit, Is Coming to PlayStation

Inscryption creator Daniel Mullins has announced that his eerie deck-building rogue light, which appeared on many Game of the Year lists last year, will be available on the PlayStation.

Announced on the PlaySation blog as part of today’s PlayStation Indies, Malins explained that the PS version of the game utilizes the controller’s RGB lights and speakers. The game’s talking card, Stoat, plays audio from the controller, and the atmospheric lighting in the cabin with Inscryption set is reflected by the DualShock / DualSense light.

“Playing in the dark gives you a step closer to feeling like you’re in Lacy’s cabin,” Malins said of the lighting.

Other than that, PlayStation’s Inscryption is the same as the PC version. Part of card games, party escape games, horror. Starting as an eerie rogue light card fighter, the story quickly twists its own rules as it gets closer to the truth.

Publisher Devolver will release the game on both PS4 and PS5, but the release date has not yet been announced. However, it is worth the wait for the announcement. The 9/10 Inscryption review explains exactly why you’re interested. Not surprisingly, he won the 2021 Best Strategy Game.
