Konami Reinstating Delisted Metal Gear Games For Series’ 35th Anniversary
Konami is preparing to revive the temporarily discontinued Metal Gear game to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the series.
As reported by VGCKonami’s Japanese Twitter account was posted to commemorate the anniversary, announcing that fans will soon be able to play the suspended entry again.
“The Metal Gear series, released on July 13, 1987, is celebrating its 35th anniversary today,” he said. “We are preparing to resume sales of suspended titles.”
This could point to versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 that were removed from the digital storefront last November following a license renewal issue.
