Konami Reportedly Isn’t Recording New Voice Acting for Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake

Metal Gear Solid 3: Remake (officially Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater) will reportedly feature the original voice actors from the 2004 game.

according to reports The VergeTommy Williams, Konami’s head of public relations for the Americas, said the remake will retain the dialogue from the original game without any changes, even though it was released nearly 20 years ago.

The voice acting situation for the remake is up in the air, as Konami announced last week that “the original voice actors will appear.”

This also means that David Hayter, who voiced Snake in nine different Metal Gear games before taking over in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, will return to the series in a way. Of course, this appears to be due to his original dialogue recorded for the game, not the new voice actor.

After being replaced, Hayter said, “I don’t feel the need to go back and work with franchise creator Hideo Kojima” (although he wasn’t involved in the remake), citing Konami’s decision not to bring him back. seemed to be quite hurt.

“It’s going to be 60 hours of insane humiliation for me,” he said of playing Metal Gear Solid 5 at the time. “I haven’t played the last two iterations of him because it’s so painful.”

As for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, Konami should explain why its name has a strange symbol and that it’s coming to the Xbox series and PC as well as the PlayStation 5. bottom.
