Lord of the Rings: Gollum Devs Apologize for ‘Underwhelming’ Launch, Announce Incoming Patch

Daedalic Entertainment has apologized for the disappointing launch of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and is currently working on fixing issues with the game.

“At Daedalic, we understand that the success of our game depends on the enjoyment and satisfaction of our players. We have read the comments and have analyzed the constructive criticism and suggestions you have provided,” the studio responded in a statement on Twitter.

Daedalic continued: “Our development team has worked hard to address the bugs and technical issues that many of you have experienced. I am doing my best.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was released on May 25, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development.
