What is Lord of the Fallen?

Strictly speaking, Lords of the Fallen is the spiritual successor to the 2014 game The Lords of the Fallen. But both games are clearly heavily influenced by FromSoftware titles. The open world, gameplay and enemy design of the new Lords of the Fallen for 2023 are indeed quite similar to games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Elden Ring.

The new Lords of the Fallen is set in a world five times larger than the 2014 title. It is divided into his two parallel worlds, the world of the living and the world of the dead. You carry around a lantern that gives you a glimpse into another world where there may be treasure or enemies.

You play as a fully customizable character with nine character classes to choose from. Along the way, you’ll amass an arsenal of weapons and spells while dodging all sorts of enemies, including giant screen-filling bosses. The game can be played solo or teamed up with friends in online co-op. Similar to Soulsborne games, other players can invade your playing session and challenge you.
