Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 Arrives Next Week

Nintendo has announced that the fifth batch of Booster Course Pass content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is coming July 12th, adding eight new and returning tracks and three classic characters to the game.

The new content will be available to players who purchase the $24.99 Booster Course Pass and will include the significantly expanded courses and characters released in Waves 1-5, which will be released regularly throughout March through 2023. Allow access to the set. This content is also available free of charge to players with a Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack membership.

Return courses Athens Dash (Mario Kart Tour), Daisy Cruiser (Mario Kart Double Dash), and Moonview Highway (Mario Kart Wii) will be featured in Wave 5, as will the all-new bathroom-inspired track Squeaky Clean Sprint. included in the Feather Cup Championship.

The final four courses that make up the new Cherry Cup are Los Angeles Lap (Mario Kart Tour), Sunset Wild (Mario Kart Super Circuit), Bowser Cape (Mario Kart Wii), and Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour).

Wave 5 also brings back Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek as playable characters, who will instead race alongside other classic characters from the previous four waves, including Bard.

The courses and characters that will be included in the upcoming sixth and final installment of the Booster Course Pass DLC are yet to be revealed, but are expected to drop in late 2023.
