Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Trailer Ends Debate Over Who Venom Really Is

In this article, we’ll be providing spoilers for Marvel’s Spider-Man and speculation for Spider-Man 2 based on information revealed in the Comic-Con 2023 trailer.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 introduces Venom to the world of Insomniac Games, but fans have been in a heated debate about the villain’s true identity.

Thanks to a new trailer released during Comic-Con 2023, it’s all but confirmed that the man (or goo) behind the mask is Harry Osborn. Harry Osborn is someone Insomniac set up as Venom by literally showing the symbiote at the end of the first game. obsessed with him

Some fans didn’t like the theory, so they tricked me into thinking it was a red herring. One Reddit user said earlier this year, “I hope he’s misdirected because Harry is such an easy choice.” “If Harry died as Venom, the goblin’s motive would be just revenge, but that’s a bit lame and cliché.”

Unless the trailer is a second red herring, though, it’s pretty clear that Harry is actually Venom. The trailer opens with Spidey’s best friend’s promise to “fix the world,” and ends with Venom’s gruff voice saying, “I’ll fix the world.”

Listen to TheEkko reddit I’m relieved that the problem is now resolved. “This should finally clear up the confusion over whether Harry is Venom or not,” they said. “It’s like it’s not quite clear enough yet.”

another directorSimilar comments were seen in an article headlined “Harry Confirmed to be Venom”. “This was pretty much confirmed in the last two games, people on this submarine wanted to die on the ‘not Harry’ hills,” said Schuzynky.

“I honestly don’t understand how people thought this was a mystery,” added ItsYaBoy-Moe. “We saw him twice in a tank surrounded by black slime.”

Of course, official confirmation will probably only come when Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20th, but Insomniac has revealed more and more about the game after being virtually silent for a year after its release. there is

Insomniac unveiled a limited-edition PlayStation 5 with a new trailer, unveiled a chunky Collector’s Edition in June, and, oddly enough, even revealed new gameplay for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
