Metroid Prime: Remastered Sells 1 Million Units, Pokémon and Splatoon 3 Also Hit Major Milestones

Metroid Prime: Remastered has sold one million units since its launch in February, and fellow Nintendo Switch titles Splatoon 3 and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet also achieved major sales milestones.

Revealed in Nintendo’s latest work financial statement, the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime: Remastered has sold 1.09 million copies since its February 8 launch. Splatoon 3 also follows an impressive launch of over 10 million units sold, with Scarlett and Violet now crossing the 20 million milestone.

Scarlett and Violet sold 20.7 million to consumers (and 22.1 million sold to retailers), an increase of 2 million from the figures announced in February, but now at 25.82 million. It still falls short of 2019’s Pokemon Sword and Shield. Units sold to retailers.

Scarlett and Violet still perform well compared to most Switch games, but on the list of best-selling software, they are 7th behind Super Mario Odyssey, Sword and Shield, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Smash. is ranked. Bros. Ultimate, Animal Cross: New Horizons, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe come first.

Splatoon 3 isn’t in the top 10, but it’s number 14 on our list of best-selling first-party titles, and Metroid Prime: Remastered is currently number 22. Anyway, both games are part of the Million Seller Club, which only includes 23 first-party Switch games to date.
