Microsoft is Piloting New Feature for Xbox Insiders to Share Their Game Pass Subscription With 4 Other People
Microsoft official blog They’re rolling out plans to Xbox Insiders to allow multiple users to share Game Pass Ultimate perks. Preview features are currently rolling out only in Colombia and Ireland.
Microsoft’s preview goal is to allow gamers to add up to four people to their subscription, allowing gamers to play games with friends and family on Game Pass on consoles, PC and in the cloud That’s it.
This plan is only available to Xbox Insiders, but you can add people who aren’t part of the program to your plan as long as they’re in the same country. Based on monetary value, we will convert remaining membership hours into new plan hours.”
In March of this year, Microsoft announced to be working on Xbox Game Pass Family PlanSubsequent details are the same or similar to the first report, including requiring the added members to be in the same country.
Xbox Game Pass offers subscribers a rotating list of games to play for $9.99 per month. In many cases, day one releases of Microsoft’s first party titles are included at no additional charge. The next tier is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Combine the service with Xbox Live Gold for $14.99/month. Not only will this give players access to his online multiplayer features on Xbox, but it will also allow players to play the game for free each month via Games With Gold.
The selection of games for August is just beginning to unfoldThose include Ghost Recon Wildlands and Turbo Golf Racing, which are available now. More games like Two Point Campus and Expeditions: Rome will be added later this month.
