The next Hearthstone set will be in the game on August 2nd (August 3rd in ANZ), adding 135 new cards, not to mention the mysterious air. With a central whodunit with a character called Murloc Holmes on the case, Castle Nathria’s Murder is becoming a lot of fun. In addition to the 10 legendary “suspects” (one per class), a new card type, Place, has been introduced. The location card is played on the board and can be activated a set number of times. Turns off during each activation. It’s all very Cluedo style. In addition to this, there is a new keyword: inject. Yes, this card starts as a minion and exchanges for weapons after an attack. It can also be attacked immediately … and can move back and forth! It’s an intriguing effect that can break small and medium-sized minion boards apart. check it out:
It is not yet known what role Remornia will play in the new meta. Warriors are now pretty weak (relatively recently the host of their keycards has been weakened), but that will almost certainly change when the murder at Castle Nasria is released. Remornia offers versatile removal to the class at the expense of some health and armor, with plenty of potential for synergies. Anything that can buff weapons and minions, or trigger an attack, can work well. As more cards are revealed, we will start to see what is possible.
I also love how Remornia fits into the folklore of the set. Here’s a slogan from the Hearthstone team: “All warriors are only as strong as their blades. Fortunately for Sir Denasrius, his blades are Remornia. This perceptual sword leaves behind the red of their sins. Until then, I just want to hack and slash her user’s enemies. There are many reasons why it’s recommended to stay on the good side of my father, but Remornia is about one-third of that. “
