The late basketball legend Kobe Bryant will grace the cover of a special edition of NBA 2K24.
As revealed in NBA 2K’s tweet (below), the Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition will be the two pricier versions of this year’s game, though exact details have yet to be revealed. .
2K has yet to reveal a cover star for the Standard edition, but as per tradition, this will likely be a working NBA player.

Bryant’s appearance on the cover of NBA 2K24 may be influenced by the fact that he wore the number 24 jersey for most of his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers. NBA 2K made a similar move last year, matching the number 23 jersey of Michael Jordan on the cover of 2K23.
Nothing else has been revealed about NBA 2K24 so far, but the tweet notes that pre-orders will begin tomorrow, with more news likely to follow.
