Rejoice, Nintendo fans! A brand new Nintendo Direct is in the works, coming out tomorrow, February 8th, with a roughly 40-minute update focused primarily on Switch games due for release in the first half of 2023.

Nintendo Direct What to expect in February 2023

As with most full Nintendo Directs, Nintendo has said that the Direct will be “primarily focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching in the first half of 2023,” and other than stating that the games we can expect to feature in the show. has not been disclosed.

What is revealed, however, is that the Nintendo Direct lasts about 40 minutes. So what can you expect in these 40 minutes? Well, a good bet is his The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, although this incredibly highly anticipated sequel to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is slated for release on May 12, 2023. , we don’t know much about it yet.

This is perfect for showing off more gameplay, revealing a little more about the story, or sharing with the world the special Collector’s Editions and themed Switch consoles planned for this important launch. It’s time.

We also know that Pikmin 4 is scheduled for 2023, so we may get an update on this new entry in the franchise that first launched on the GameCube in 2001. Another big question mark is Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp. Scheduled to be released on April 8, 2022.

Metroid Prime 4 is still somewhere on the horizon, and the biggest news we’ve heard in a while is that its development has resumed in 2019. Additionally, there were rumors that a Metroid Prime Trilogy was in the works for Switch, but that hasn’t even surfaced yet.

A 2021 report says Game Boy and Game Boy Color games are making their way to the service.

Another good bet might be the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, which just confirmed sales of over 18 million units, and some sort of appearance from the Super Mario Bros. movies.
