The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears has been out since the weekend, and fans are finding all sorts of fun Easter eggs and tidbits here and there. One of our favorite his?Link’s cooking animations gets the smallest and sweetest musical upgrade. Yes, Link sings now!
In Breath of the Wild, Link’s cooking animation was pretty wholesome on its own. He threw the ingredients into the pot, hummed some abstract notes gleefully as they simmered, and expressed his delight when the dish was done (assuming it was not in doubt). But in “Tears of the Kingdom,” Link actually sings, which makes his cooking even more appealing. multiple recognizable songs From his own game while cooking food.

Others on the internet have reported hearing even more songs from the link, so you’ll have to cook quite a bit if you want to hear them all. This is an adorable bit of almost her fourth wall breaking action by an adorable protagonist. But more than that, it’s part of the bigger, more defined personality that Nintendo has been trying to give Link in recent games, from dialogue options to little mannerisms like this. Another reason we really love Link.
