People Are in Love with Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s Elephant Mario
Nintendo announced an all-new 2D Mario game called Super Mario Bros. Wonder at the Nintendo Direct in June, and fans are already hooked on Elephant Mario, the “last one” in the trailer.
The upcoming Switch game’s two-minute trailer ends with Mario absorbing a type of elephant fruit and transforming into an elephant. However, instead of Mario’s clothes changing like tanuki and catsuits, Mario himself transforms this time.
Fans quickly embraced the new character and shared their adoration online through social media posts, memes, and fan art.

One Reddit user responded to one of the hottest topics at the moment, “What do you think of Elephant Mario?”, writing, “He’s an asshole, but I love him.” mario subreddit. “I will buy jumbo stuffed animals when they drop in price,” said another.
Other fans were amused by the new power, commenting that it was “the funniest thing I’ve seen this week” and “the funniest transformation ever”.
