Sony has revealed that the August 2022 PlayStation Plus games will be Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2, and Little Nightmares.revealed in playstation blogall three games will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers on August 2 at no additional charge.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is another entry in the increasingly wacky and action-packed Yakuza series about protagonist Ichiban Kasuga trying to elevate a criminal organization from scratch to hero. Like Dragon, it marked the beginning of a new era for the franchise by introducing turn-based combat for the first time.
IGN said in their 7/10 review:
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is a remaster of the original (and arguably the best) Tony Hawk skateboarding game, with all the fast-paced, high-scoring sports action fans have come to expect from a remake.
It’s also the only game Tony Hawk game fans can look forward to for a while, as he recently confirmed that the remasters of 3 and 4 have been cancelled. Pro Skater 1 & 2 thankfully left a good impression, but in a 9/10 review he IGN said:
Last but not least, Little Nightmares is a third-person adventure game set in a spooky (surprise, surprise) world with elements of stealth and exploration. The player assumes the role of a kidnapped girl called Six on her way home.
IGN said in their 8/10 review:
These three new games will be available for free until September 6th, while last month’s games (including Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon) will be available until August 1st. increase.
