PSA: Here’s How Many Korok Seeds Are in Tears of the Kingdom

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a truly ambitious collector has managed to find 900 Korok Seeds hidden throughout Hyrule. There are 1000 more in Tears of the Kingdom. And unfortunately, the rewards for finding them all are just as bad as their predecessors.

Warning: Light spoilers for Hestu’s quest and Korok collection follow. Read on at your own risk!

There are a total of 1000 Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom, but you don’t actually need to help 1000 Korok. With 800 seeds you only need to find a total of 800 hidden koroks, the remaining 200 can be obtained by helping him reunite 100 pairs of koroks in a quest to help him contact his friends. increase. Each of these quests gives him 2 Korok Seeds, for a total of 1,000 Korok Seeds. So, depending on how you look at it, collecting Korok Seeds is going to be a little easier or harder than Breath of the Wild.

Unfortunately, the reward for getting all 1000 is not amazing. In Breath of the Wild, players received an item called “Hestu’s Gift”. This, frankly, looks like a huge pile of (according to the description) “pretty smelly” golden poop.

Exactly the same thing happens in Tears of the Kingdom. yes. If he collects 1,000 of Korok’s small poops, he will receive a large poop as a souvenir. Thank you Hests.

However, completing the quest means your inventory is fully upgraded, and you can also talk to Hestu at any time to watch him dance. So it’s a small victory.

1,000 Korok Seeds is too much for most people to find on their own. Luckily, IGN has a guide to help you find all the Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom.
