Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Aims to Add New Single-Player Experience, With a Custom Character

Red Dead Redemption 2’s new mod adds a new single-player experience to the game with new missions, robbers, and your own bespoke characters.

The Crime life With mods, you can start a whole new wild west adventure, starting with creating a new custom character that follows in the footsteps of Arthur Morgan.

“The point of the mod is to get rid of all the weapons and money and play as a whole new character,” said creator CruelMaster MC. “Don’t play as Arthur or John. That’s the point of the mod.”

Once installed, start Life of Crime by talking to an NPC in a white hat at Copperhead Landing. Unfolding is a bold breakout from Siska Prison. This custom intro sequence gives a little background when the character participates in a prison break. And it’s not long before you meet your contacts to embark on a criminal life.

“While playing the game, you can get all the weapons by buying them from Gunsmith or finding them somewhere on the map,” they added. “By doing missions and more, you can make more money to pay for these things and many of the things you plan to add.”

Some of the many planned additions teased by the mod creators are additional robbery and bounty hunters. But even now, the mods are fairly extensive and include a new skill tree and two new missions (manner robbery and train robbery).

The mod has been around for a while, but previously it only contained Manor Heist, who played as Arthur Morgan. But now it looks like Life of Crime is aiming to create a whole new single-player experience.

Rockstar recently announced that it will not update to add Red Dead Online themes in order to prioritize GTA 6. So this new single-player mod didn’t arrive anymore.

In addition, Rockstar is reportedly shelving a planned remake of GTA IV and the original Red Dead Redemption.

Expect this ambitious new mod to provide all the new content you need for your Red Dead 2 player.
