Redfall Isn’t Using Unreal Engine 5 After All

As Arkane Studios’ first-person shooter nears its release date, red fallconfirmed not to use Unreal Engine 5.

It’s worth mentioning that Arkane has said in the past that they won’t be using Unreal Engine 5. FAQ page, the question is “What game engine is Redfall using?” The answer is Unreal Engine 4.

Redfall is the latest title from Arkane Studios. The game is set to release on PC and Xbox Series X|S on May 2, 2023. A PlayStation 5 version of the game was originally planned, but that was scrapped when Microsoft acquired Bethesda, Smith revealed in a recent interview with IGN France.
