Resident Evil Re:Verse Has a New Release Date

Resident Evil Re: Verse is a multiplayer game originally planned to be released with Resident Evil Village and has a new release date of October 28, 2022.

The latest release date for Re: Verse will be announced at the Capcom Showcase and will be available on the same day that Resident Evil Village’s Winters’ Expansion arrives.

For those unfamiliar, DLC will add playable characters such as the long-awaited story extensions “Shadows of Rose” and “Lady Dimitrescu” to mercenary mode, and a third person mode to the Village campaign.

This multiplayer experience has multiple delays “so that teams can continue to work to provide a smooth gameplay experience,” and we hope we can finally fulfill our promise later this year.

What is that promise? A 6-player PvP deathmatch game where players become different characters from the entire Resident Evil series.

Re: Verse conducted an open beta test in April 2021 but was shortened due to matchmaking issues.

In addition to the release date of Re: Verse and the DLC of Resident Evil Village, the Capcom showcase also has a new look for the Resident Evil 4 remake, Monster Hunter Rise: new details for Sunbreak, and a new look for the collaborative dinosaur murder action game. Exoprimal was included.
