Resident Evil Village’s VR Mode Launches February 22 as Free DLC

Resident Evil Village’s virtual reality mode will arrive as free DLC on February 22, the same day that PlayStation VR2 launches.

So anyone who owns the original version of Resident Evil Village on PlayStation 5 and also owns PS VR2 can download and play the update for free.

The VR mode was first announced in June and will support the entire Resident Evil Village campaign. “Ethan Winters’ journey takes full advantage of the headset’s advanced features, so a deeper and more engaging adventure awaits on PlayStation VR2,” reads Capcom’s official synopsis.

“VR mode makes Resident Evil Village more realistic and intense than ever before with 4K HDR displays, eye tracking and 3D audio.

“Be prepared to immerse yourself in the detailed virtual reality atmosphere of the village, including the ornate rooms of Dimitrescu Castle, and feel truly dwarfed by the larger-than-life characters and creatures lurking within. .”

In previewing the game, IGN said: Evil Village fans who have had the chance to watch their favorite series will return to its excellent field. “
