Respawn’s Jedi: Survivor included a slew of new and returning characters who were wholly important to the Star Wars canon, but perhaps none more important than Turgle.
The giant frog menace caught Star Wars fans’ attention with his strangely charismatic antics, but now Jedi: Survivor director Stig Asmussen has hinted at his return in the future. .
Speaking to IGN on the Beyond podcast, Asmussen commented on fan reaction to Turgle, giving his followers hope for more to come.
“You never know what people go crazy for Turgle when you’re working on a game…the team loves Turgle,” he said.
“I think actor Richard Horvitz has done a great job with him, but actually seeing it out there and seeing how people reacted confirmed a lot of the feelings we had for the team, We were able to verify it.” “
Finally, when asked if Turgl could return for a third game, which Asmussen probably wanted, Asmussen teased that he hopes so.
