San Diego Comic-Con 2023: Everything Announced

San Diego Comic-Con 2023 is back. Along with that came a ton of news from the entertainment world.

Here’s a quick recap of what was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2023.

Invincible: Exclusive Season 2 Poster Revealed

A day before SDCC kicks off, IGN has unveiled an exclusive poster for the highly anticipated second season of Prime Video’s adult animated series Invincible. Aside from “coming soon,” no premiere date has been set yet, but series creator Robert Carman will be at SDCC to promote the second season, with a panel discussion scheduled for July 21 at 5:45 p.m. Pacific Time).

The Walking Dead: Betrayal is Skybound’s new survival and social deception game

Another piece of news that arrived the day before SDCC came from Skybound Games, who announced that the developer was working on a new multiplayer social deception survival game set in the world of The Walking Dead. In The Walking Dead: Betrayl, players try to survive an undead outbreak by crafting, cooking, surviving, communicating with party members, and cheating a bit along the way. There is also

The Walking Dead: Betrayal will release later this year and will be available exclusively on PC via Steam. A closed beta test is scheduled for August 10th.

The Boys spin-off Gen 5 premieres on September 29th

Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2023, Amazon Studios has teased a September release date for its college-themed TV series. However, on the first day of the tournament, the studio revealed that Gen V will premiere on September 29th with three episodes, with the first season finale scheduled for November 3rd.

Blizzard Announces Several New Changes And Plans To Be Introduced To Diablo IV

Diablo IV Associate Game Director Joe Piepiora mentioned in an interview the disconnect deaths that hardcore players are experiencing while playing the game. Piepiola suggested that a scroll of escape might circumvent this problem. But Piepiora also explained that Blizzard is making a number of performance tweaks to help improve connectivity in the first season of Diablo IV.

Piepiora also elaborated on Blizzard’s thought process regarding the drop rates of Diablo 4’s controversial popular Uber Unique items.

‘Borderlands’ to hit theaters next year

Lionsgate Films has announced that the live-action version of Borderlands will be released on August 9, 2024. The film was released in 2015 and was directed and written by Eli Roth.

“Adventure Time: Fiona and Cake” to be released in August

Adventure Time: Fiona and Cake, a spin-off series to Cartoon Network’s acclaimed animated series, premieres on August 31st. Along with the release date, we also got the first trailer for the series.
