Serum, a First-Person Survival Game, Announced

Developer Game Island has announced Serum, a first-person survival game for PC. In this game you need to craft, hunt, adapt, and survive in a forest with nominal serum.

Game Island says there will be safe zones and shelters where you can build weapons and traps and prepare to stop the wilderness. In the meantime, you will need to fight serum-infected mutant animals in the woods.

But Hook is that you have to inject serum into your own system to stay alive. It changes you physically and mentally, but if you don’t get any more every few minutes you die. However, all organisms are potential sources of serum because they can collect serum from enemies and other entities.

Serum doesn’t have a release date yet, but it will be released on Steam as soon as it’s ready.
