Simon Pegg has joined the magical world of Harry Potter as the voice of Phineas Nigellus Black, the notorious spiteful headmaster in Hogwarts Legacy.
Pegg describes his character, Sirius Black’s great-great-grandfather, as being the “least popular” headmaster in the history of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sebastian Croft and Amelia Gething provide voice options for the game’s playable avatars, and Jason Anthony voices the nearly headless Nick and Sorting Hat. The hat uses knowledge from the student’s past and input from the player to decide which Hogwarts house is right for them, but you’ll find out soon enough.
Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 10th, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 4th, and on Nintendo Switch on July 25th.
