Speedrunner Beats Breath of the Wild 50 Times in 24 Hours

Between searching for weapons, fighting bosses, and completing Hyrule’s many side quests, gamers who choose to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in full will have 50 to prepare for the final boss. You can spend ~100+ hours on it. Of course, some players abandon the game’s guidance and instead speed-run defeat the final boss without any preparation. Twitch StreamerPlayer5 Did — 50 times a day.

On January 15th, Player5 defeated Breath of the Wild 50 times in just under 23 hours.Full stream is playable on his Twitch channelthey also Claimed the current Any% world record for Breath of the Wild speedrun.

“I decided to do it in early January, but my friend TheRealNoman thought about it maybe a year ago,” Player5 told IGN. I’ve also seen Run to Run), so I thought it would be a fun challenge.”

as pointed out by game radar+, Player5’s fastest finish time during this marathon is 24:16, with a relatively similar average time of 25:23. However, achieving this precise timing was not easy.

“The hardest part was trying not to get frustrated by the little mistakes I made around the 18th to 20th hour,” they said. “I knew I was capable of much better, but leaning over just makes everything worse.”

Player5 is confident in the consistency of his Any% runs in Breath of the Wild, and his Marathon Challenge run just proved that.

“I think I also learned that after playing 20 hours straight, I can still play well,” they said.

Player5’s impressive run is the latest addition to Breath of the Wild’s long history of speedruns and challenges. This includes this player who completed the game without ever crossing paths, and this YouTuber who opened a treasure chest that no other player had been able to open in his four years.
