FINAL FANTASY VII hero Cloud Strife is immortalized with a new 25th anniversary action figure … which also comes with an NFT.
Square Enix announces in the future Cloud Strife Figure Includes NFT as part of purchase – use blockchain as a digital certificate of authenticity and a “digital version of the figure”.
“The Digital Plus Edition is a set of physical action figures with one exchange ticket for exchanging the digital Certificate of Authenticity for the digital version of the figure,” he reads. “Both the digital certificate and the digital version of the figure are managed by a blockchain technology called NFT. The digital certificate of authenticity provides proof of authenticity when the figure is first purchased. “
“The digital version of the figure can be enjoyed on smartphones and PCs through a dedicated website,” they added.
We still don’t know how to “enjoy” the figures via your smartphone or PC. Will this be in the form of 3D rendering? JPEG? Do you know. However, you will need to sign up for the Enjin NFT platform to verify.
The figure itself costs $ 159.99 and can be pre-ordered now. It will be released in November 2023 with both a digital exchange ticket and the Certificate of Authenticity.
In addition, Square Enix will attach NFTs to some trading cards.according to CNETNext year, the company will release the FINAL FANTASY VII trading card set, which bundles NFTs into packs as standard. Anyone who purchases a pack of trading cards can redeem the digital version that exists as an NFT.
