Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Adds Much Requested Fast Travel Feature

EA’s Respawn Entertainment has listened to fan feedback and added the long-awaited Fast Travel feature to the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

As reported by game radardirector Stig Asmussen told Play Magazine that Respawn is implementing more ways to travel the Jedi.

The lack of fast travel in the original Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order frustrated many fans in an otherwise well-received game. Players were encouraged to return and explore different areas, but were unable to quickly teleport between these locations and were forced to essentially start from the beginning of each world before doing so. I was forced to.

“We will have both fast travel and rideable creatures to help the player quickly move from point A to B and back to A,” Asmussen said.

“High-speed travel is point-to-point, and rideable creatures provide a way to quickly negotiate between points and explore what’s in between.”

However, these new additions aren’t the only differences we’ll see in the sequel, as Jedi: Survivor’s main character, Cal Kestis, has also undergone changes.”[Cal’s] It’s become more mature, more robust, and weathered by time and circumstances,” voice actor Cameron Monaghan told IGN in December.

The long-awaited sequel was previously only a month away from launch, but Respawn recently announced a six-week delay, pushing Jedi: Survivor back to April 28th.

In its original 9/10 review, IGN said:
