Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II Can’t Be Completed on Switch Due to Game-Breaking Bug

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch suffers from a bug that breaks the game that prevents players from advancing and ending the story. Unfortunately, there is currently no news about when owners can expect patches. Repair it.

Developer Aspyr admitted on Twitter today that he is aware that there is currently no way to quit the game, but we apologize for any inconvenience. The team said, “We are working to provide the patch as soon as possible.”

Aspyr released A note on that support page late last week The studio states that it has received a player report for “Game Crash that occurred after the Basilisk Crash cutscene when landing on Onderon.”

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment, released on Xbox in 2004 by LucasArts on PC in 2005, and released on Switch earlier this month.

Aspyr is also currently working on a remake of the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It will appear on PlayStation 5 as a dedicated console at launch in parallel with the PC release, and other consoles may be released at a later date.
