Street Fighter 6 Lets You Pull Faces at Your Opponent Before a Match

Street Fighter 6 has introduced a unique form of emotes, and while dental floss may be a step too far away, Capcom settled on pulling the opponent’s face before the match.

The developers seem to have released the first Street Fighter 6 gameplay on the PlayStation State of Play just a few days ago, opening the lock for other information about the latest entries in its iconic fighting game series.

One of these is from the official Street Fighter Twitter account (below), and it was revealed that when you press the direction button on the screen, the character pulls another face. Therefore, players can make Ryu and his friends (and enemies) frown at each other, act very self-righteously, and emulate pre-combat jitter.

Capcom only shows a few different options, so whether each fighter is limited to four faces (like the four direction buttons), players can assign different buttons to mix and match different emotions. It’s unclear if it can be done.

This is similar to emoting systems like previous From Software games like Elden Ring, Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but this type of content also applies to DLC and Battle Pass like live service games such as: It is deeply connected. Fortnite And Apex Legends.

Capcom confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will be released in 2023 last week, so there’s plenty of time to guess before fans actually notice it.

The game was first released in February, following a week of bullying from Capcom, and almost immediately caused controversy with an announcement logo that looked strangely similar to the stock image.
