The Day Before developer Fntastic has claimed that the game’s Steam page, which was taken down in January due to a trademark dispute, will soon be back online.

talk to well doneFntastic claimed that it was “the first time we’ve started using this name in connection with a video game” and that it was “optimistic to get the name back through the legal process as soon as possible.”

Although The Day Before is set to release on November 10th, just five months away, Fntastic said that “the Steam page will be back soon,” though it hasn’t revealed its schedule.

The Day Before has been removed from Steam after the developers of the 2010 countdown app of the same name found out about the video game. Fntastic postponed the release date of The Day Before as a result of the controversy, but later confirmed to IGN that they had planned to postpone it nonetheless.

New gameplay details were also shared during the interview, with Fntastic revealing that players will be able to challenge in-game jobs in The Day Before.

“These in-game jobs range from manual labor as a loader to displaying artistic talent as a musician,” he said. “These jobs add more realism and immersion to the game.”

A 30-second gameplay video released alongside the interview showed players driving a Lamborghini-esque car through an abandoned city.

The Day Before has been through a long and complicated development process with two delays so far, but Fntastic has promised that November 10th will definitely be the final release date. The beta version will run between now and launch.
