The Division Resurgence Is Ubisoft’s Newest Mobile Game

We knew it Ubisoft was planning to create a mobile game Thanks to Tom Clancy’s The Division, a third-person shooter RPG franchise. Today, the game giant officially announced Tom Clancy’s Division Resurgence. This is a free game to play on iOS and Android.

Like the first game, Resurgence is set in New York City after the outbreak of the virus, but with a new independent story. Ubisoft has confirmed that Resurgence provides a “unique perspective on the key story events that have occurred” in both the 2019 division and its sequel, Division 2.

Similar to the first two articles, Tom Clancy’s division will allow players to explore an open world where they can roam freely while protecting civilians from members of hostile factions. Players have the option to play solo or with friends via co-op. If you are interested in participating in future tests, you can sign up now.

Resurrection is not the only game set in the division universe currently under development. Last year, Ubisoft announced The Division: Heartland. This is a free play game by former Tom Clancy developer Red Storm Entertainment, available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Heartland was originally set to launch in the 2021-2022 window, but Ubisoft quietly postponed the game in October 2021.
