The Super Mario Bros. Theme Is the First Video Game Music Enshrined in the National Recording Registry

The Library of Congress selected Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. theme as the first video game track to enter the National Recording Registry.

With a blog update from US Library of Congress, the research institute named the Super Mario Bros. theme one of 25 recordings to be exhibited and preserved in the National Recording Registry. every year, Libraries select small collections “The Scope and Diversity of America’s Recorded Sound Heritage to Raise Conservation Awareness” of Audio Sampling.
