The Witcher DLC is Coming to Lost Ark This Winter

Lost Ark will receive The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-themed DLC, which will be released this winter.

DLC revealed during Lost Ark Summer Showcase (It focuses on the Korean version of the game) and was discovered by PCGamesNIt’s unclear at this time if the DLC will be released in this version alone, or if it will hit the western version of Lost Ark as well.

Details are still vague, but CD Projekt Red told IGN, “We’re working with Smilegate RPG to bring the most authentic Witcher experience to Lost Ark. This collaboration will be added to Lost Ark.”

Fans are already guessing what the DLC will be-some are hoping for a brand new The Witcher class, while others are hoping for a quest to go with a skin based on the Witcher.

Lost Ark was first released in South Korea in 2019, but only in the West earlier this year. The update to the Western version follows the Korean version fairly accurately, but the update lags behind the Korean version.

This isn’t the first time it has appeared in another game franchise, as Geralt of Rivia was made a fighter in Soul Calibur VI when it was released in 2018.

Other than the upcoming single-player Gwent game, Witcher fans may have been waiting for a while before they can return to the continent, as the next mainline installment has just entered pre-production.
