Todd Howard Says Only 10% of Starfield Planets Have Life on Them

Bethesda’s Todd Howard revealed that only 10% of Starfield’s 1,000 planets harbor life.

talk to kinda funny gameExplaining how Bethesda populated the Starfield world, Howard said different planets have different purposes.

“For us, we think it gives you [choices] when looking at the system. “There is so much we can do here,” he said. This could include visiting barren planets that exist only to gather resources, or visiting planets with major cities and settlements for players to explore and progress the story. I have.

“Obviously it’s procedural, so you can’t handcraft the whole planet,” Howard continued. “What we do is handcraft individual locations, some of which are specially arranged. [like] There are major cities and other quest locations, and a set of things that are spawned or placed upon landing depending on the planet. “

But Howard said emptier planets also have benefits, balancing overcrowded planets to create a believable universe.

“I think it’s about time you land on some of these barren planets, and we’ll again generate certain things for you to find there,” Howard continued. “But if you look at the planet, there are resources, and there is what you want.”

So, the over 1,000 planets available in Starfield offer players more than enough to explore, and even if many of them are thin on the side story, Starfield has more to offer than other Bethesda games. Contains a lot of handcrafted content.

Starfield is probably the most highly anticipated video game release in recent memory, and as such has captured the attention of fans in wild and wonderful ways. For example, Virtual Sandwich went viral for him being stuck at 30 frames per second, while an ESRB rating revealed drugs, in-game purchases, and jetpack sex.
