Twitter rumors of crypto integration circulating


According to code extracted from a recent version of the Twitter web app by security researcher Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter may be looking to integrate cryptocurrency payments and create a native coin.
Wong’s Twitter account, famous for studying code on Twitter, was allegedly suspended shortly after he shared a “Twitter Coin” vector image and a “Coins” section within Twitter’s “Tips” feature.
A researcher named Jane Wong, who is famous for studying code on Twitter, shared her findings about Twitter Coin on her account.
Jane Wong’s Twitter account has since been suspended.

It remains to be seen if the team is actively working on this feature, so the potential for Twitter to integrate cryptocurrency payments with native coin creation is unknown at this time. However, Twitter CEO Elon Musk has previously expressed interest in integrating cryptocurrencies into the platform, specifically Dogecoin (DOGE), both publicly and subliminally.

Some Twitter members have spoken out about Wong’s suspicious disappearance from the internet after the leak.

Other users, such as entrepreneur James Jansson, claimed Wong’s disappearance was related to “racist attacks.”

Amidst all these rumors, one fact is clear. Wong revealed code that hinted at Twitter’s crypto integration, followed by his Wong’s closure and/or deletion of his Twitter account.
