Upload VR Showcase June 2022: Everything Announced, Including More Among US VR Gameplay

All this news was revealed in today’s Upload VR showcase, which includes several announcements about MetaQuest 2 and other major VR headsets.

VR among us reveals how it’s actually a sequel to the 2020 mega-hit

The latest trailer, which introduces the gameplay of “Among Us VR,” reveals an experience that feels very different from the 2020 blockbuster game. Stealth, betrayal, and complete lies all remain, but negotiations are more than that. Text Box — You are actually at the table. VR basically changes everything. From basic tasks to the horror of turning around and finding another crew member, we’re staring at you. I’m still not sure if these updates will actually work in the final version, but at first glance, Among UsVR feels like a full-fledged sequel. It will be released on Holiday 2022 on MetaQuest and PCVR devices.

Broken Edge is a new multiplayer sword fighting game

What comes to your mind first in a motion control game? For many, it’s a lightsaber, but the next best thing is a classic sword fight. Broken Edge is the latest game to capture the elemental charm of blades colliding in VR, with a variety of techniques and fighting styles in a multiplayer setting. Broken Edge is being developed by Trebuchet, based in Montreal, the studio behind Prison Boss VR, and will be released on the MetaQuest and PCVR platforms in 2022.

Dyschronia: Chronos Alternative Murders and Dreams in the VR Anime World

The previously postponed Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate has a new trailer. The murder mystery of these three episodes is set in an “idyllic artificial marine city” that uses dreams to prevent crime, and features a fascinating anime art style. Memory diving, interactive research, etc. all work in VR. Episode 1 will be released this summer, and two more episodes and Nintendo Switch will be released later this year.

Final Fury rethinks fighting game with new Ribir trailer

Imagine one of the Ryu HadokenAs soon as you fly, you’ll see what you can expect from Kluge Interactive’s new VR fighting game, Final Fury. Final Fury has many traps for classic fighting games, such as special movements and lifebars, but it’s set in the first person and has a variety of motion controls. The main question is whether Final Fury can be as deep as a more traditional companion. Learn more when Final Fury appears on all major VR headsets in 2023.

Warplanes developers shift to helicopters with the new HeliSquad teaser trailer

After focusing primarily on World War I and WWII fighters in the last two games, VR developer Home Net Games has moved to helicopters, which are slightly different military hardware. I am. The new teaser trailer, titled “Heli Squad: Covert Operations,” inherits game characters like Modern Warfare with scrambled graphics and 3D models. Warplanes games sought to combine arcade and simulation-style realism with gameplay. The HeliSquad figure follows almost the same path, this time using a helicopter. All major VR headsets will show “coming soon”.

Hubris Trailer offers a new glimpse of ambitious underwater combat

VR enthusiasts looking for a full-fledged graphics celebration on the platform of their choice may want to look at Hubris, which received an update during the UploadVR showcase. Belgium-based developer Cyborn promises to still be working on an ambitious new first-person game with a trailer that intercuts the busy developer scene with gorgeous underwater combat and sci-fi facilities. Not as much as the acclaimed Subnautica, which received its own VR update a few years ago. If Hubris is half as good as Subnautica, Cyborn may be working on something. Hubris will be released on the MetaQuest and PPCVR platforms later this year.

Mother Gunship: Forge Leaps In VR Next Week

Mother Gunship is the latest shooter game to move to VR when it arrives on June 16th, and is a new trailer that introduces some of the mayhem fans you can expect from a spin-off. As with the core game, Mothergunship allows you to desperately build and upgrade guns in a first-person barrage environment, but currently only in VR. Ultimately, you undertake the mother gunship. Originally released in 2018, the spin-off is aimed at the MetaQuest 2 and PCVR platforms.

What is a bat? Golf is a sequel to VR, which is the same as ridiculous.

What the Golf was a hilarious physics-based parody game designed to enjoy the most annoying sports. And now, WhattheBat is incorporating that concept into VR. As the name implies, bats are all bats. Specifically, the protagonist literally has a hand bat. The trailer does a good job of highlighting many, many hygiene to ensure. Bat is currently under development by Triband and has a release set for MetaQuest and other PCVR platforms.

Green Hell allows Jaguar to be stalked in VR

As the new launch trailer for Green Hell VR shows, you didn’t seem to be alive until you picked up a maggot from an open wound in VR. Like many games on this list, Green Hell was previously released and highly regarded on other platforms and is now heading for VR. Like The Long Night, it’s a survival game, only Green Hell is set in the jungle. Create all the Jaguars stalking among the trees in VR, straighten the wounds and look down. Currently available on the PCVR platform.

Zenith Celestial Throne Trailer provides details on upcoming major updates

Zenith: The Lost City, a VRMMO developed by RamenVR, will soon get a major update. In the Upload VR showcase, Ramen VR unveiled some of the new environments, introducing eight new armor sets, six instantiated dungeons, and over 20 new quests. New updates are scheduled for June 16th on the Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, and PC VR platforms.

Twilight Zone trailers will probably leave Rod Serling very confused

How does Rod Serling feel about a VR game where you shoot monsters and dodge iconic door variations in the Twilight Zone? He’s probably confused, and he ignites a cigarette. In any case, Twilight Zone is a mixed reality game with real-time video and in-game content that closely resembles the iconic sci-fi series. However, wear a hazard suit to fight shadow monsters. Featuring three original stories, the Twilight Zone was developed for release on Meta Quest 2 on July 14, and a PSVR version will be released at a later date.

The limiterity phase is a lo-fi indie horror game

Anananas Studio has announced Liminal Phase, a new lo-fi horror game for PCVR headsets. A simple public trailer gives it a bit of a hacker feel, as the protagonist works against old-fashioned desktop enemies and fights low-poly enemies. It is scheduled for 2023.

Espire 2 releases new development diary

DigitalLode’s upcoming VR FPS received a new trailer during the Upload VR showcase, where developers categorized new stealth game gameplay, playable classes, and co-op options. Called “Full-scale VR FPS”, we will head to MetaQuest later this year.

Stride gets a new multiplayer trailer

Stride is getting a new multiplayer mode today. This was introduced by Joyway in its new launch trailer. Originally released in 2020, Stride is a free-running VR game strongly influenced by Mirror’s Edge. New multiplayer modes released as free updates include modes such as King of the Hill. Available on MetaQuest 2 and PCVR platforms.

PathCraft is trying to capture the legacy of lemmings

Do you remember Remmings? Classic PC puzzle games were famous for their bouncy music, evil traps, and green-haired characters with the habit of exploding in confetti. Like many other games these days, PathCraft is trying to transform its appeal into VR. You can also see how to do this in the new trailer released in the UploadVR showcase. PathCraft will be released later this year on MetaQuest 2.

Unplugged Panthera features a famous metal group

Check out this launch trailer for Unplugged Pantera, a DLC pack for Unplugged handtrack VR guitar games. Games and add-ons featuring well-known metal groups are now available on the MetaQuest and PCVR platforms.

Hellsweeper Quest Reveal Trailer

Vertigo Games has been confirmed to publish this intense and bloody action from Mixed Realms. This action will be directed to MetaQuest 2 and other PCVR platforms later this year.

RagnarokHellfest DLC gets new launch trailer

Ragnarok, a VR rhythm action game, has obtained DLC related to the French Helfest Metal Festival. Check out the new trailer for content released today, June 9th.

Propagation VR Developer Update

Wandev Studios, the developer of Propagation, provides the latest information on upcoming VR zombie shooters. It will be released on the MetaQuest and PCVR platforms later this year.

Nerf Ultimate Championship gameplay will be introduced in a new trailer

We saw a new gameplay showcase of a brand new multiplayer shooter featuring wall running. Yes, it’s a Nerf gun. It doesn’t look much different from a regular shooter, but Nerf fans can enjoy firing foam darts from an in-game model of their favorite plastic weapon.

Moss: Book 2 will be released on MetaQuest 2 on July 21st

Moss: Book 2, which appeared on PlayStation VR in March, has finally reached its release date with MetaQuest 2. Adorable Mouse Adventure will be released on Meta’s standalone headset on July 21st. Check out our review here. We call it the “exemplary sequel” here.

Killer Frequency is the debut VR game from Team17

Team 17’s debut VR game is revealed in a new trailer featuring a very creepy door and a shouting attacker at the end of the corridor. According to the official description, Killer Frequency will cast you as a radio DJ to help local townspeople keep the killer. The logo suggests that there is a bit of synthwave aesthetics. Team 17’s standards are usually very high, so Killer Frequency could be a sleep game to watch in this showcase.

Gambit gives you a glimpse of why it’s a payday in VR

Gambit’s first gameplay was shown in a new trailer. Billed as Payday in VR, this new team-based shooter will head to the MetaQuest and PCVR platforms later this year.
