Witcher 3 Next-Gen Accidentally Included Some NSFW Community Mods

WARNING: This article contains NSFW references.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that certain NSFW community mods were accidentally added to The Witcher 3’s next-gen update and are working to remove them from the game.

As reported by Kotaku, Reddit users and other players have noted that certain characters, including “clones of Crookback Bog and bruxas (the only female NPCs who regularly go full frontal without discreet shots or panties)” have strip-style pubic hair and eyes. I started noticing that I have visible labia. “

According to Kotaku, the original version of The Witcher 3 had the same nudity, but the woman had “no visible genitals, just a sort of smooth Barbie doll area.”

CD Projekt Red commented on the issue, stating that this was a by-product of bringing a ton of community-sourced mods into The Witcher 3 that weren’t created by the studio, and that it was “unintentional.” .

“The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature several mods not created by CD PROJEKT RED but obtained from the community, plus a number of features created and implemented inside the studio. In addition to the enhancements, “CD Projekt Red said: Complex processes and textures of problems are unintended consequences present in the release version. This is what we are working on. ”

The team followed up, stating that the mod in question would be removed in the future, as “these textures were never intended to exist in the release version of the game.”
